Pipe Reel Comparison
How does the CFC pipe reel compare to HCC's OEM pipe reel?
We are so glad you asked.
1. The tubing that is used as the bats on the CFC reel has a wall thickness that is 1/8" thick. HCC uses tubing that is almost 1/2 as thick. CFC's "See Thru" reel is much stronger.
2. The tubing that CFC uses where the bearings have the tubing turning inside of them has a wall thickness of 3/16". HCC uses the same tubing turning inside the bearing as they do in item #1 above. CFC has yet to have their tubing where out where the bearing surface meets the tubing. If you own an HCC reel, this is probably the reason you are looking at this web page.
3. CFC uses the patented "Gentle Finger" design meaning that the finger is tougher and will last longer (unless you cut it off in the cutterbar). They will not break.
